The main function of this group is to organise the annual Green Festival. The 2011 was enjoyed by all our stallholders and visitors – you can see the report here
About Us - Nine years ago, Ludlow 21 took over the management of the Ludlow Green Fair and in the succeeding years it has developed into a Green Festival. This has varied in length and date but is now firmly established during the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August.
The Festival is now managed by a small committee with significant volunteer help from members of Ludlow 21.
To cover our costs we rely on sponsorship from local business, income from stall rents, some small grants, and in 2011 a street collection.
Aims of the Green Festival - We aim to raise awareness of the massive environmental challenges facing mankind, and at the same time, demonstrate how we can enrich our lives by treading more lightly on the earth.
The Festival raises our profile in the Town and the area, adds to Ludlow’s reputation as a “Festival town” and significantly boosts the town centre’s economy.

And for the rest of the year….
Green Drinks – 21st of each month At the October 07 AGM it was proposed that Ludlow 21 join the Green Drinks network which started in London and has now gone international with over 275 locations hosting “Green Drinks” social gatherings.
Visit www.greendrinks.org to see for yourself how it works. Simply it’s a regular meeting place for “green” people to meet, have a drink and exchange news and views and maybe cook up some new ideas!
Come and tell us about your ideas, learn what’s happening locally, explore new projects and, most important, enjoy a social evening with like-minded folk.
We will be meeting at the Rose and Crown in Church Street on the 21st of each month from 7.30 pm onwards. Come in and join us – look for the ‘green flag’
