The Ludlow 21 PLASTICS group is NEW and is working with:
- The Shropshire initiative against ‘pointless plastics’
- The Ludlow plastic-free initiative
- Developing an understanding of what is ‘useful plastic’
- Getting transparency into the Shropshire ‘recycling’ infrastructure and enhancing it.
There are two very useful articles published by the Consumer Association on supermarket activity and what can be recycled – see these:

https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/recycling/article/how-to-recycle-in-the-uk
Our Approach:
- Working with other civic groups and initiatives in Shropshire
- Analysing the ‘recycling’ infrastructure in Shropshire
- Finding alterative approaches to better use of plastics
