Join us from 7.30pm for a lively insight, open discussion and positive thinking that will help equip us for tomorrow’s world. Each month we will feature a topic to do with how we can adapt our and others’ lifestyles to make our community more robust and sustainable in a world that’s experiencing climate change. The session will last approximately an hour and afterwards there will be an opportunity for more informal chat and socialising.
Note that some meetings may be elsewhere and/or at a different time. Topics may change so check regularly.

May 5th – 7.30pm ‘The People’s Emergency Briefing’ 45 min film at the Blue Boar followed on by facilitated discussion. See more here.
June 2nd – 7pm – ‘ Castle View Meadow’ Its journey from being developed and returning it to a flourishing wildflower meadow with public access. Please meet in the meadow (SY8 2NG) for a talk approx. 30 mins -Then onto the Unicorn pub for additional green conversation.

July 7th – Master Composter – Mark Foxall – Talk on the benefits of composting and also an update on the Biochar project in Ludlow.

September 1st –Herbal medicine : Tradition meets science.
This interactive talk with local medical herbalist Robyn Volkers will explore the practice of Herbal medicine. It will include some seasonal examples of how you can safely use nature’s pharmacy to manage and prevent common conditions at home as well as outline some common safety and quality issues and how and when a professional herbalist can help.
You will also be able to try some herbal teas and tinctures and see if you can guess the mystery herbs.
