(by Gwen Burnyeat, a British anthropologist, and Pablo Mejia Trujillo, a Colombian film-maker, documenting the community’s experiences of resistance as they courageously persist with their production of organic chocolate) In conjunction with Clun Valley Fairtrade Group. Gwen will answer questions and serve hot chocolate.
Sat 4th March 7.30pm ‘Designs on the Roof of the World’ Conversation & Illustrated Talk, Chris Evans. Ludlow Methodist Church, Broad Street (Chris has been working with local people in Nepal to develop sustainable farming practices for over thirty years. Now farmers have begun to be able to devote some land to cash crops such as cotton to sell on a fairtrade basis) Download poster
